How to Kill Subterranean Termites | Taurus SC Termites Treatment | DIY | Video Tutorial Step By Step

Uh, guys so what I'm doing today show you guys how to eliminate your sub turning subterranean termites. What you can tell them there is that you'll see mud tunnels throughout the concrete inside your house you know you can call an exterminator and you know they're going to tell you, you know anywhere to give you an estimate. I got three different estimates that range anywhere from eight to twelve hundred dollars or you know a few hours of their work the more the most labor-intensive. Part of their job is to dig a trench for out around the perimeter your house which is six inches wide by six inches deep all the way across. Once you dig that you can use a pickax or a shovel. Whatever you want to use once you do that you're going to use what's called a non-repellant. There are two types of termite killers there's a repellent and a non-repellent.




The beauty of this product it's almost like a ninja juice what essentially does okay they don't the termites themselves they don't know it's there they're going to walk through it dig through it eat it and then they're going to go back down to the ground because they trap. they don't stay up in the wood they travel down to get moisture from the dirt so what they're essentially doing all the time and they go down to the rest of the colony including the Queen and pass it along and kill them, okay so this product is what's called Torus SC you might also see what's called Termidor SC okay the active agreed what's called Fipronil it's 9.1% . This is the most popular and strongest and the best stuff that money can buy and most of y'all will see Termidor. They don't sell the Termidor in larger than a 20 ounce package I got this for SSC which is 17 ounces this will essentially cover 100 linear feet across your whole property worth of termites okay 78 ounces what's the difference between Termidor and torus SC absolutely nothing, it's like if you go to Walmart and you get the belt the great value brand versus you know the name-brand same difference this is the same active ingredient and just labeled differently.



Okay, I went on do it you do it myself past control calm this whole bottle was 105 dollars. If you don't mind digging a little six-inch by six-inch trench laundry house investing a hundred bucks into this product which I did you'll save yourself about a grand not bad for a day's work isn't it so what I'm going to show you how to do this product here there's a little measuring here so once you get to zero point eight ounces you fill zero point out ounces in the four gallon bucket. I actually marked this okay four gallons you fill-up zero point eight ounces four times so I already put three of them in there this is the last one I'm going to drop in there now okay this is the fourth one four times zero point eight fluid ounces in a four-gallon bucket okay once you do that take a little piece of wood and you mix that a little bit to mix it up we got to mention you want to wear protection you want to use nitrile gloves which are chemical resistant facemask and some goggles you want to protect yourself belong with wearing long sleeves throughout you know I don't want to get this stuff on my body if it kills termites I don't know what it would do to me.


So just wanted to take yourself it's really important to wear the proper protection mix this stuff up okay so in a nutshell zero eight zero-point eight-ounce to ten for 34 gallons once you do that I already did this partis this ten feet and I'm going to do this ten feet here so what you simply do just slowly no-limit wrench all right so now you're thinking how about the backfill okay I call the manufacturer and they gave me their professional recommendation uh as far as what you do with the backfill after you fill in the backfill take like a rakelike this fill it back in now if you watch some other videos after you fillup the back though they're going to recommend spraying the top part of it with like a chemical sprayer but I'm sure you all know that the chemicalsprayer doesn't spray out a whole lot offormula especially you know it's goingto take you hours to spray the top fillwhen I call themanufacturer they said do this drill another four gallons of water inside the bucket but on the backfill you put 0.8 load ounces twice getting out four times if like the first time zero point eight ounces twice pour it in four in the 4-yard bucket mix it up and whenever you fill the back fill for every ten feet for some more of it on top that's going to kill the termites.
